Three people who transitioned from male to female provided their journeys recently once the Oak Park region Lesbian & Gay Association hosted a Transgender Education Panel during the Oak Park Library.
Panelists Ann Lewis, Odette Bishop and Jill Rose Quinn each shared the way they struggled due to their identities for a long time before being released as transgender ladies. all of them voiced their regret on the years they lived perhaps maybe perhaps not being “themselves.” They stated they hoped their tales would assist to encourage transgender individuals and the transitioning process to their families.
